Quartz crystal with moving bubbles and amethyst patch

Measurements:  66 x 36 x 21 mm

Description:  A quartz crystal with faint clouds of amethyst colouring, two sizable moving bubbles and a few tiny moving bubbles, and the greater part of it being gemmy. The most obvious bubble is about 2 mm in diametre. Just below it is the biggest bubble, measuring about 4 mm in diametre, and is situated towards the middle of the crystal (vaguely seen towards the bottom of the top right image).

Tilted at a certain angle, a small rainbow can be seen near the base of the biggest termination facet. Besides the bubbles, the crystal has fascinating gas inclusions.

The termination has a small nick while there are contact and pressure marks near the crystal's base. The crystal parted from its matrix at an angle.
