Description: A group of quartz crystals with prominent reddish and blackish phantoms, on a quartz matrix. The phantoms were caused by a hematite deposit on a first generation quartz growth, which received a second layer of quartz growth later on.
This specimen is from a rare find. It has been trimmed at the bottom, and displays well on a flat surface, all-round.
Some terminations have bad nicks, and there is damage to some of the edges of the specimen.
