Description: The main
crystal has interesting extra crystal
facets and is supported by another crystal that meets at an
angle of about
45º. The specimen displays very well. The main
crystal has two phantoms. The 1st generation
crystal is coated with an olive green coating (unknown mineral), while
the 2nd
generation quartz crystal is coated with a yellowish-brown and black
coating,
presumably hematite. The
surface of the specimen has a strange 'pitted' effect, with a
reddish-brown
coating of iron oxode. The bottom of the specimen is covered with
minute quartz
crystals. Apart
from a few minute nicks, the main crystal is undamaged. There is some
damage to
the lower end of the specimen. Weight of Specimen:
