Description: This specimen with light amethyst colouring, is a rather unusual, where one cactus quartz crystal sits across (and instead of) the bigger cactus quartz crystal's termination, at a ± 90º angle.
The bottom of especially the smaller crystal also shows clearly how cactus quartz crystals are typically formed, by tiny crystals forming around a core (image bottom left).
The
termination point has a very small nick, while the rest of the specimen
has a few small nicks.
