Description: A piece of prehnite with quite good bladed formation, from a recent discovery. It displays well on a flat surface. There are bits of feldspar / calcite attached.

Weight of Specimen: 80.9 g

Chemical Composition: Ca₂Al₂Si₃O₁₀(OH)₂

Hardness on Mohs Scale: 6-6.5

Location: Karoo, Western Cape, South Africa.
