Quartz with Chlorite – BARG 035

Measurements:  43 x 25 x 15 mm

Description:  A quartz crystal with chlorite inclusions, from a rare find, mined by ourselves. 

Alongside the termination is a small, quartz crystal cluster with multiple facets and a small deposit of chalcedony / quartz next to the termination tip.

The termination has a small nick, while the rest of the specimen has a few pressure marks.

Weight of Specimen:  20.0 g   

Chemical Composition:  SiO₂  

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  7 

Location:  Ceres area, Western Cape, South Africa.
