Quartz crystal with striking yellowish phantom


Measurements:  33 x 17 x 13 mm   

Description:  A quartz crystal with a striking shallow, yellowish phantom. Two of the shaft facets show the partially exposed phantom.

The termination has only a few minute nicks, hardly visible with the naked eye. There are a few contact marks near the base.

Weight of Specimen:  12.2 g  

Chemical Composition:  SiO2  

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  7
