Description: A double terminated amethyst quartz crystal.
The crystal actually has a phantom, but since the outer layer of quartz is not very clear, difficult to see. But where the outer quartz layer does not cover it, the base of the dark inner crystal can be seen below the amethyst colouring.
The lesser termination is multi-faceted, and opaque. There is a small, flat, female phantom crystal fused to one of the sides of the whitish part of the specimen.
The main termination has a nick, while the rest of the specimen has a few small nicks.
