Phantom Quartz Crystal – BARGii 022

Measurements:  64 x 22 x 21 mm

Description:  A quartz crystal with phantom, caused by a layer of minute hematite specks that covered the initial crystal, before new quartz growth commenced. The crystal has a few tiny quartz crystals attached, two of which also have phantoms.   

The termination has only a few minute nicks (barely visible with the naked eye) but the rest of the crystal has a few nicks and flaws, and a neat pressure mark.
