Measurements: 61 x 31 x 28 mm Description: A double / multi-terminated smoky quartz crystal with a small group of quartz crystals on one of its shafts and a few chlorite inclusions, better viewed with light from behind, like in upper right image. In the multi-termination is an area which, at first glance, looks like a big ding, but taking a closer look, one can see it's actually a seperate quartz crystal that has grown on a neat pressure mark, but it has a large contact mark on its surface (image middle right). Half of the shaft facets are clear and smooth, while the other half has a slight roughness and dullness to them. The crystal has a few nicks and contact / pressure marks. The
specimen comes from a recent, spectacular find and specimens
from this area will most probably become a novelty soon. Weight of
Specimen: 57.8 g Chemical Composition: SiO2 Hardness on Mohs Scale: 7 Specimen
