Description: Three
clear quartz crystals (the largest 41 mm long and the smallest very
small) have
a layer of prehnite crystals that cover more than half of the quartz.
The
one side of the specimen, totally covered by prehnite, has
minute white
crystals on the surface, possibly calcite. The top right photograph was
taken
in natural sunlight. The
main quartz crystal has a ding on its termination, while the second
largest
quartz crystal has a flaw. There is some damage to the bottom of the
specimen,
where it parted from its matrix. Weight
