Measurements: 71 x 66 x 54 mm
Description: A beautiful clear, gemmy
quartz crystal (60 x 17 x 15 mm) with very light smoky colouring in its
upper
half and slight milkiness in its lower half, sits to the side of a
matrix of
(mostly) quartz, shared with several other smaller, clear quartz
crystals. The main crystal, which has
a female termination, has a few interesting patterns on some of its
termination
facets, and a few gas and other inclusions. One of the lesser crystals
has an
interesting pressure mark to the side. The main crystal seems
almost perfect, but on looking closer, one can see a very narrow nick
running
across nearly half of the female termination point, and along an
adjoining
ridge. Most of the lesser crystals have little or no damage,
but a few of
them (sitting on the matrix) have broken off, and there is some damage
to the
edges of the matrix. The specimen displays well
on a flat surface, with the main crystal sitting at
an angle of rougly
55º. Weight of Specimen: 164.2 g Chemical
