Double Terminated Quartz Crystal with Moving Bubbles - NBB 060

Gemmy quartz crystal with three good-sized moving bubbles

Measurements:  57 x 21 x 17 mm

Description:  A gemmy quartz crystal with faint amethyst colouring, that boasts three moving bubbles, each about 3 mm in diametre. Two of them move well, while the one in the lower half doesn't have much space, and only changes its shape as it moves towards a narrower part of its cavity. It also has lovely gas inclusions and some negative crystals.

Furthermore, the crystal is double terminated, with the bottom end having numerous facets, and it looks like a group of very flat quartz crystals have covered a part of this termination, and fused into it, showing only slight elevation. One of the shalft facets have several very minute clear crystals on its surface, possibly quartz.

The main termination point has a few minute nicks, while the rest of the crystal has only a few minute to very small nicks.
