Description: A group of quartz crystals with patches of light amethyst colouring,on a small matrix of quartz and chalcedony. The main feature of this specimen is the number of tiny quartz crystals that protrude from most of the crystals. There are also a few lovely elevations on some of the termination facets. The biggest crystal has gas inclusions and a tiny moving bubble near its termination base. There is a somewhat dull outer coating, along with numerous minute (?)hematite spots. One of the
lesser crystals has a few minute nicks to its termination
point (barely visible with the naked eye), otherwise pressure and
contact marks near the base of the specimen. It displays well on a flat
