Measurements: 70 x 55 x 65 mm Description: A quartz crystal (25 x 13 x 11 mm) with light amethyst colouring and interesting patterns on the termination facets, sits at an angle in / on a bed of greyish calcite crystals which, in turn, sit on a matrix of basalt rock. A few calcite (or perhaps analcime(?) crystals are attached to the surface of the crystal near its base. The lower ± third of the crystal is slightly milky. There are only a few red and
dark blueish hematite specks and a minute (still) bubble included, as
well as a
lovely rainbow, seen when tilted in light. There is an extremely minute
nick to the termination ridge, hardly visible with the naked eye. Only slight damage to the
outer edges of the
