Description: Double terminated, clear faden quartz crystals sit on calcite crystals which, in turn, sit on a basalt matrix. The largest quartz crystal is 60 mm long. One of the smaller crystals has a termination point that cracked at some stage and then rehealed spontaneously.
There are also a few lesser quartz crystals, but some of them are damaged. The largest quartz crystal has a contact mark near the middle and a few minute nicks.
This specimen comes from a find
in August / September 2015, and displays well on a flat surface.
