Description: A quartz crystal with milky
lower part, and lovely amethyst upper half, with inclusions of lovely
gas and
sparkling red and blueish hematite specks. There are interesting growth
patterns on some of the termination facets, and bits of chlorite in the
lower
half.
The termination tip has a
small nick, and there are a few nicks to the rest of the crystal, and
pressure
marks at the base.
Amethyst crystals from
Brandberg are quite scarce and sought-after.
