Quartz Crystal with Three Other Minerals, on Matrix NBB 177

Quartz crystal with three other minerals, on matrix

Measurements:  56 x 22 x 17 mm

Description:  A lovely, gemmy,  clear quartz crystal with very pale green bits of prehnite attached to its surface. Along with a few calcite and analcime crystals at its base, it sits on a small matrix of quartz and basalt rock. There is a very faint light smoky phantom.

There are a few natural pressure marks to the specimen, and only a few extremely minute nicks to the termination (hardly visible with the naked eye). There is a small quartz crystal fused to the side of the quartz crystal, which has lost its termination.
