Description: A quartz crystal (38 x 11 x 08 mm) with only a slight hint of amethyst / smoky colouring in its upper part, sits on a matrix of calcite and quartz, along with a few lesser quartz crystals. There is a lovely inclusion of concentrated gas in the big quartz crystal, giving it a shiny effect.
The
main crystal has only a very minute nick to its termination tip (hardly
visible with the naked eye) and there is some damage to the edges of
the matrix.
