The crystal has a milky to clear colour, with a few faint bits of smoky and very faint bits of amethyst colouring. It has gas inclusions, internal flaws and interesting growth patterns on some termination facets. When tilted in light, a small rainbow can be seen. The terminations have only a few
very
minute nicks (hardly visible with the naked eye), while there is damage
to the bottom end of the specimen, where it parted from its matrix. A
