Smoky window quartz crystal with interesting growth patterns

Description:  A smoky window quartz crystal with very interesting growth patterns, most probably the result of intense temperature changes during growth. 

The specimen has a few nicks and flaws, but most of the damage is to the lower back of the crystal, where it was previously joined to other rocks.

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  7
