Measurements: 58 x 31 x 23 mm
Description: A quartz crystal with amethyst colouring, ranging from medium to light purple, with a lovely bubble (see image top right) towards the middle of one of the termination facets. It measures about 2.5 mm in diametre and moves in a cavity of roughly 5 mm. A few mm from there is something that can perhaps be a bubble / trapped air measuring about 7 mm in diametre, but it does not appear to move.
There are lovely growth and termination patterns, gas and and numerous (mostly reddish) very minute hematite specks.
A small nick on the termination facet ridge, just above the rock-like bits of matrix. At the narrower end there is a small flaw.
