Smoky Quartz Crystal Group with Inclusions - NER 051

Smoky quartz crystal with interesting multi-terminated head

Measurements:  40 x 35 x 30 mm

Description:  A group of smoky quartz crystals with a piece of schorl embedded at the base. The crystals have a few beautiful inclusions of (what appears to be) schorl, which can clearly be seen when held against light (two upper right images).    

One of the terminations have a nick, while some of the other terminations have only minute nicks. The rest of the specimen has flaws and contact /pressure marks.

Chemical Composition:  SiO2 (quartz)

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  7 (quartz)
