Aquamarine Crystal on Schorl Crystals – NERA 014

Measurements:  34 x 27 x 23 mm 

Description:  A pale blue aquamarine crystal (19 x 05 x 05 mm) with gemmy termination, sits on schorl (variety foitite) crystals with bits of feldspar, the matrix being partly coated with very minute greenish / yellowish crystals of a (to us, unknown) mineral.

The aquamarine crystal has a few minute, as well as a small nick to the edges of its termination. The schorl has very little damage.

The specimen displays well on a flat surface.
