Fluorite Crystal Specimen NERF 001

Drusy, deep purple fluorite crystal specimen

Measurements:  154 x 87 x 61 mm

Description:  Drusy fluorite crystals (up to about 6 mm on edge) with mostly a deep, dark, gemmy amethyst colouring and others with a greenish-blue colouring, together with some very small, milky coloured quartz crystals, sit on purple fluorite rock. The specimen is quite dark, and the amethyst colour comes through better in bright sunlight.

Some of the fluorite crystals are covered with (what appears to be) either feldspar or limestone.

Both sides (top and bottom), as well as some cavities, are lined with crystals. It displays well on a flat surface when stood on its narrow base, so it looks good all round (see four images with marble background).

This lovely specimen has a few contact marks, and some of the crystals have small nicks.
