Description: A delicate specimen consisting
of botryoidal planchéite / shattuckite with two malachite crystals, with a
conglomerate matrix of planchéite / shattuckite, quartz and malachite.
It is obvious that this specimen was removed fairly close to the
surface, as it has a few small plant roots embedded in its base
(photograph bottom, left).
The specimen, which displays well on a flat surface, has some damage to
the malachite and to the edges. A small part was cut /trimmed at the top,
probably to remove unwanted matter (see image bottom right, close
to centre of photograph).
