Dioptase and Calcite Crystals on Matrix - NTS 013

Measurements:  77 x 46 x 18 mm

Description:  Gemmy, small dioptase crystals and calcite crystals share a rock matrix. The dioptase has a lovely bottle-green colour, more beautiful than in these images, and the specimen has a sparkle to it (seen when held in light), another difficult feature to portray in these images.

There is damage to some of the dioptase crystals on the edges of the specimen. The specimen displays well on a flat surface.
