Botryoidal pearly blue semi-transparent chalcedony, N'Chwaning 3

Measurements:  48 x 26 x 29 mm

Description:   Botryoidal, pearly blue, semi-transparent chalcedony with pieces of calcite from a recent find at N'Chwaning mine. The only notable damage to this interesting-looking specimen, is to its bottom, where it parted from the matrix.

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  6.5 - 7
