Rhodochrosite Crystals on Matrix - SKMF 014

Measurements:  106 x 62 x 51 mm

Description:  Aggregates of tiny rhodochrosite crystals with a pinkish / lavender colouring, sit on a conglomerate matrix. The bottom and sides of the specimen also have a few small, exposed geodes. One of the images show a tiny geode that measures about 12 mm across, situated at the side of the specimen. The yellow bits are hard clay deposits.

The rhodochrosite has a few small nicks, and damage to the edges. 

This specimen was found at the N'Chwaning 1 mine in January 2014.
