Sparkling botryoidal rhodochrosite crystals in geode








Measurements:  126 x 72 x 44 mm

Description:  A specimen comprising of a few small geodes filled with sparkling, brownish-pink, botryoidal aggregates of minute rhodochrosite crystals. The manganite-rich rock contains a few thin veins of rhodochrosite and a few patches of ?calcite.

No noteworthy damage. Image bottom right shows the bottom of specimen.
