A druse (22 x
13 mm) of very small, sparkling, rhodochrosite crystals with
beautiful, gemmy,
reddish-orange terminations (possibly 2nd generation growth - see
close-up on upper right image), sit on a thin layer of rhodochrosite
which, in
turn, sits on a manganite matrix. The only damage
appears to be on the edges of the druse. Weight of Specimen: 38.1 g Chemical Composition: Mn2+(CO3)
