Hausmanite and Andradite Garnets with (?)Calcite - SKMF 043

Measurements:  43 x 35 x 25 mm

Description:  A specimen consisting of hausmanite crystals and andradite garnets with bits of (?)calcite. 

The only notable damage is to the edges of the specimen.

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  (hausmanite)  5.5

Location:  N'Chwaning 2 mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields, Kuruman Area, Northern Cape, South Africa.
