Description: Minute, sparkling botryoidal rhodochrosite crystals with a pink to light lavender colouring, on a flattish piece of matrix. Image upper right shows the view from above, when it is on a flat surface. There are bits or brownish clay towards the edges.
The specimen comes from a pocket that was found in January 2014 at the N'Chwaning 1 mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields.
There is no notable damage to the
specimen.
