Cactus Quartz Crystal – SKW 023

Measurements:  41 x 30 x 26 mm 

Description:  A beautiful, semi-clear cactus quartz crystal with shiny facets. 

First generation quartz growth was followed by second generation growth. The specimen has a beautifully shaped head and a number of smaller crystals on its sides. The yellowish colouring is due to iron oxide staining, some of which has been trapped under a thin layer of quartz.

The specimen has only a few minute nicks and a flaw.
