Amethyst Quartz Crystals on Matrix – SKW 044

Measurements:  39 x 35 x 21 mm 

Description:  Drusy quartz crystals with lovely amethyst colour and shiny facets, on a quartz matrix. The brown and black minerals are possibly goethite and hematite. 

This colour quartz from this locality is difficult to obtain. The specimen displays well on a flat surface.

Some of the crystals have small nicks and there is damage to the edges.
