Description: Lovely amethyst quartz crystals with shiny facets, many with darker terminations, sit on a (?)basalt matrix. The yellow colouring to the edges of the specimen is due to iron oxide staining and there are bits of hard clay among the crystals.
Some of the crystal have small
nicks. There is damage to the edges of the specimen.
