Description: A cactus quartz crystal with intense yellow colour, due to a coating of iron oxide. Quartz with such a deep yellow colour is very rare from this area, and highly prized. There is another small crystal attached to its base.
The narrow female termination point
has only a few extremely minute nicks, hardly visible with the naked
eye. There are contact marks near the base.
