Group of phantom quartz crystals with striking colours

Measurements:  52 x 50 x 31 mm

Description:  A group of milky to clear quartz crystals with striking reddish-brown to black phantoms caused by hematite coatings on the phantoms. The yellowish colour on the sufaces is iron oxide.

Six of the larger crystals have undamaged terminations and one of these crystals has a large pressure mark towards the middle. Some of the smaller crystals are damaged, and there are bits of feldspar attached to the bottom of the specimen.
