Very Unusual Quartz Crystal Cluster – SNCO 060

Very unusual quartz crystal cluster

Measurements:  43 x 40 x 31 mm

Description:  A complex cluster of quartz crystals with at least two generations of quartz growth, sparkling inclusions of metallic hematite and minute crystals of (?)red garnets, red hematite and (?) kaolin. There are a few crystals situated at the bottom of the specimen (image 2nd from bottom, left).

The 1st generation of quartz growth received a deposit of hematite and (?)kaolin / feldspar, and a 2nd generation of quartz with minute crystals of hematite and (?)garnets resumed (top two images on right), resulting in a very special specimen.

The terminations have a few very small nicks, and two crystals to the sides have some damage.
