Quartz Crystals with Hematite Coating, on Matrix – SNCO 117

Measurements:  87 x 70 x 37 mm

Description:  A group of quartz crystals of which some have a thin coating of orangy-brown hematite, on a matrix of mostly quartz. 

The termination points have only a few very minute nicks, while one of the darker (middle-sized) crystals has a big nick. There is also some damage to the edges of the specimen.
