Quartz Crystal Cluster on Matrix – SWCC 010

Measurements:  47 x 41 x 40 mm

Description:  The clear quartz crystal cluster is made up of mainly double terminated crystals, with the bigger ones at the bottom and the smaller ones on top.  It rests on a matrix of small quartz crystals and sandstone. 

Some of the main crystals are partly covered with a greyish substance (possibly grains of sandstone), which is also included in many of the matrix crystals, which gives the matrix an overall greyish appearance.
