Measurements: 53 x 31 x 28 mm Description: A few clear quartz crystals sit on a matrix of broken quartz crystals and rock and bits of (?)goethite. The crystals have a few minute balls of chlorite inside, and a few brownish indentations on the surface, where chlorite balls were probably long ago, and then eroded away, and eventually replaced by (?)goethite. A smaller crystal has partially penetrated the stubby crystal. Please follow this link to see what these minute balls look like under a microscope. Two of the crystals each has a flaw, and there is a long nick to the lower side of one of the crystals, but the termination points appear to be in good shape. Weight of Specimen: 29.1 g Chemical
