Description:
The
specimen consists of a flattish, double terminated quartz
crystal, surrounded by numerous smaller quartz crystals, with a few
dolomite crystals and bits of feldspar. When tilted in light, one can
see at least one small rainbow to the side of the main crystal.
The
specimen has only a very light touch of smoky colouring. There are a
few (not very obvious) rutile needles in and on the bottom of the
specimen.
Damage is limited to one small (lesser) crystal
that is broken, and at the bottom, where it parted from its
matrix.
