A lovely, gemmy, clear quartz crystal, with the upper half having
a very light smoky colour. It has a minute bubble that
moves when tilted,
and some gas inclusions. To
the side of the bottom half is a neat, deep
pressure mark, and there are also lovely growth marks to one of the
large
facets. Close
to the termination, is a pitted area (about
10 x 7 mm), where some other mineral had been attached, and then
eroded, prior
to this crystal having been mined. The
crystal has a few minute nicks, and some damage
at the bottom, where it parted from its matrix. Weight
