Carrollite Crystal Cluster - VAR 036

Measurements:  27 x 16 x 14 mm

Description:  A small cluster of carrollite crystals with a high metallic lustre. The largest crystals are about 4 mm on edge. 

There appears to be no damage to the specimen.

Carrollite specimens are not easily obtainable.

Weight of Specimens:  10.1 g

Chemical Composition:  CuCo_1.5Ni_0.5S₄

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  4.5 - 5.5

Location:  Katanga, Congo, Africa.
