The termination point has several minute to small nicks, while the rest of the specimen has large, neat pressure marks and a few contact marks. The base of the specimen has been trimmed (image bottom right), and it displays well on a flat surface, all-round.When displaying your amethyst specimens, keep in mind that the colour tends to fade when exposed to sunlight.
