Banded piece of fluorite seen with light behind it

Measurements:  30 x 25 x 05 mm

Description:  A slab of banded fluorite with lovely blue / pink / purple colour zoning. 

Except for the image with lighter background colour, all the other images were taken with light from behind, to expose their inner colours.

Weight of Specimen:  10.3 g

Chemical Composition:  CaF2 

Hardness on Mohs Scale:  4
